Recreational Soccer Program
Our recreational soccer league is a community focused endeavor that offers children in Middle Georgia an opportunity to learn the game of soccer in a fun, low pressure environment. While our Rec program is competitive and each season ends with a tournament, winning and losing is not the primary goal of the program. This program is the primary mission o the Club and relies heavily on the volunteer work of its board members and its participants. So, any and all volunteer assistance is welcome.

U4 Intro to SoccerList Item 1
BIRTH YEARS 2021
MSC's Intro Program is a FUN introductory program designed for three-year-old boys and girls. This is a success-based program designed to develop a player’s confidence and a life-long love of the game of soccer. We will have a Professional Trainer assisted by the parent/s of each player as needed. We will work on soccer skills each week through a variety of games and learning activities. While your player is participating in these fun filled games, they will be improving their coordination, balance, speed, spatial awareness along with listening skills. All which will be valuable skills to take with them throughout life and sports.
The 6-week long season. The cost per season is $85 which includes a t-shirt.
* No set teams
* Players can wear soccer cleats or tennis shoes
* Players must bring a size 3 soccer ball and plenty of water

U5 & U6 New BallList Item 2
BIRTH YEARS 2019-2020
Under 5 & 6 Soccer (aka New Ball) is a wonderful program designed to introduce young children to the game of soccer. First and foremost, New Ball soccer is about kids having FUN! At this level, kids play small-sided soccer in a 3v3 format emphasizing fun and basic soccer skills. Teams are limited to a maximum of six players per team so each child plays at least half of every game. New Ball soccer differs from soccer in older age groups in that (1) no score is kept, (2) coaches are on the field with the players during the game encouraging the players and teaching them basic soccer, (3) the playing field is small (usually 20 yards wide by 30 yards long), and (4) there is no goalkeeper.
As a result, the benefits of New Ball are:
- New Ball = More touches on the ball which means faster skill development and increased enjoyment of the game.
- New Ball = More playing time with the ball actively in play
- New Ball = a faster game, which will produce more goals and more excitement, while at the same time de-emphasizing the importance of scoring and emphasizing play and fun.
- New ball allows non-assertive players to be more involved by rolling the new ball to those players
- New Ball has been a successful development rool around the country.

U7-U12 ProgramList Item 3
BIRTH YEARS 2013-2018
- U7 and U8 consisted of small sided, 4v4 games without goalkeepers, maximizing time on the ball while bringing in important game elements such as kickoffs, restarts and positions.
- U10 consists of 7v7, with goalkeepers and a build out line to emphasis pasing out of the back in lieu of kick and run soccer.
- U12 consists of 9v9 soccer with the full complement of soccer rules enforced.

U16 programList Item 4
BIRTH YEARS 2009-2012
This Division provides full field, 11v11 soccer. The program covers middle school (and those players sooner to enter or just leaving middles school) and is Co-ed in order to have enough players to provide 11v11 soccer.
